Have You Considered A Dubai Vacation

Until recently I have never considered a Dubai vacation, but all that changed when I saw a tv programme on Dubai about a week ago.

There seem to be some laws you must be aware of as a visitor to Dubai, but I'm not gonna let those put me off my Dubai vacation.

Of course I need to research a little first as I'll want to play golf at one of the best golf course in Dubai, plus I'll want to be able to visit all the huge construction projects shown on tv but as soon as I have found the information I want, I'm gonna be booking my Dubai vacation. Will you?

Why I Wish I Was In Brazil

Here in the UK it's snowing again and the country is at a standstill. Schools are closed and many people can't get to work - which is why I wish I was in Brazil.

You see, sitting here with the central heating on, trying to keep warm while everywhere is like a ghost town isn't exactly fun - which is why I wish I was in Brazil.

If I was in Brazil now, I would be down at the beach, grabbing some sun, maybe relaxing with friends, having a beer and surrounded by people having fun.

So that's why I wish I was in Brazil. It's a long way off before I can return to Brazil, but it will happen.

I'll be adding some travel tips on how to have a cheap vacation later this week so look out for those.

Best Honeymoon Destination

While it’s of course a matter of opinion, I think the best honeymoon destination on the planet would be Maui. I’m certainly not the only one that feels Maui is the best honeymoon destination, as that is a popular reason for people to go there and a big part of its tourism advertising is focused on newly weds or young couples.

The best honeymoon destination is someplace you can relax and enjoy each others company without having to race around and sight see all day. Going to some historically rich foreign country may seem romantic, but it’ll be hard to justify laying around together in your hotel room when there are so many world renown sights to see within just a few miles that you may never have a chance to see again. That’s why I think Maui is the best honeymoon destination.

Not that there isn’t anything to see in Maui; quite the contrary, Maui is filled with its own fascinating sights and culture as well. However, the sights to see in Maui are the sights of the island itself. Just hanging out on a beach together would be the equivalent to sight seeing, as you’re on one of the finest and most gorgeous beaches on the planet.

When you need to take a break from lying around, there are some really amazing little Hawaiian towns to explore, and some mind blowing natural scenes to drive to. None of this will feel like the kind of fast paced and rushed sight seeing you’d do in another country. Even in Hawaii is in fact another country for you, it doesn’t really matter if you go to Maui as it is in no way a historical representation of the United States. Maui still looks and feels a lot like it probably did even before it was part of the U.S, and it is this romantic appeal mixed with its relaxed nature that makes it the best honeymoon destination.

The more popular island of Oahu will definitely be more traditionally touristy, with plenty of sights to race around to and a big city to visit. Oahu can be gotten to in just a couple hours from Maui, so you can easily do both if you can’t decide. Personally, when (if) I have my honeymoon, I think I’d rather spend the whole time on Maui. Just the right mix of things to do, amazing and exotic sights to see, and excuses to lay around and relax, Maui is definitely the best honeymoon destination on the planet in my book.

Family Vacations

Growing up, my parents were sure to make sure that each and every year consisted of at least 2 family vacations. There were years that we didn't have a lot of money to be taking lavish family vacations, but they always found some way to get all of us together and give us lasting memories. That's what life and quality time is supposed to be about - the memories that will last a lifetime. There were years that they splurged and would fly all of us to Disney or the Bahamas.

Most of our family vacations were spent at the beach or camping in the wilderness. Camping didn't cost very much money and somehow always ended up being a really peaceful vacation. All of the family fights and arguing seemed to be put on hold once we were out in the great outdoors. My parents had purchased a huge, two room tent one year to accommodate their growing children, and it was so much fun for us. My dad would let us stay up late and tell us stories while we snuggled into our sleeping bags. My mother would pretend to be annoyed that we were staying up past our bedtimes, but she was always smiling when she said it. The family vacations to the beach were always thrilling as well. They would rent a house or apartment a few blocks from the beach and we'd spend a week laying in the sun, jumping through the waves and running around in the sand.

It isn't cheap to plan and take family vacations nowadays. Prices have skyrocketed and the price of fuel can cut some trips short. People are tending to not venture as far away from home to save money. Family vacations to Disney are often advertised that they are discounted or on sale, but even the lower costs can really add up for a larger family. The actual airfare and hotel might be reasonable, but you have to think about all of the food and drinks that add up on those relaxing family vacations. The admissions to the theme parks are amazingly high.

For families who are wanting to take family vacations that will be peaceful and memorable, you don't always have to spend a fortune. My favorite memories of spending time with my family weren't in the islands or theme parks, they were of camping. Of course, not every family craves spending time in the great outdoors. I know some families who can't live without electricity and a comfy bed. There are other options. If you're looking to travel someplace, see if there are package deals that might include all of your meals. That could save your family quite a bit of money. Visit the beaches in the off-season to take advantage of lower rates and smaller crowds of people. Visit local destinations instead of venturing farther away. And remember, family vacations aren't always about where you go or how much money you spend - it is about making memories.

Alaska Cruise Tours

Most of us have thought about it some time or another. The sound of the waves, the smell of the ocean, who could ask for more. Cruises are becoming more popular as time moves on. It doesn't have to consist of a summer getaway any longer. Many of us take advantage of cruises when getting married, or simply seeing new places. No matter what your attraction to the big boats, tours are evolving. These days you can even take an Alaska cruise tour. I know what you're thinking. Who would want to venture out into the cold for a vacation? Regardless, this new concept is becoming more and more desired.

I first stumbled across an Alaska cruise tour when I was searching for destination weddings online. I was shocked that this idea ever arose, let alone opened to the public. When I hear people discuss fun and relaxation, it typically involves the sun and 80 degree weather. Tours to Alaska are never mentioned. However, I was more than intrigued by the notion of an Alaska cruise tour. My fiance and I even discussed the idea of a destination wedding on an Alaskan cruise. Being a cold-lover, I thought it sounded magnificent. After all, how many times do you head up to Alaska?

Alaska cruise tours are available at reasonable prices if you check your online listings. If you do a thorough search, you can come up with a pretty decent package. Imagine all that can be seen and experienced on an Alaska cruise tour. Beautiful snowy scenery set with ocean life at your hand's reach. It could be an experience like no other. All of your friends who head out on their stereotypical summer cruises will be jealous when they catch wind of your tour of Alaska. It's a time you won't forget.

Whether you're looking for a peaceful getaway, or a honeymoon cruise to an exciting new place, Alaskan cruises are the way to go. If you're sick of the heat and sun beating in your eyes, try a trip to the northern state that many never get to see. Take in the Northern lights and relax with the penguins while having a romantic dinner. Many people never give winter cruises a try, but if you do, you'll surely bring back some good memories. After all, you only live once. Make it a variety of joyful experiences.

Learn French In France

Learning French in France is far and away the best way to pick up that language, and if you have any doubt about that, take a look at me. For years and years, I studied the French language, but until I took a course to learn French in France, I never really got anywhere. You can take as many French courses as you want to in high school and college, but they will only get you so far. If you want to study a foreign language and really learn it, the bottom line is that you have to go to the place where that language is spoken natively, or you will never master it.

There are many reasons for this, but I will just go through the very most important one here. One of them is simply that it is easier to learn a language when you need it to survive. If you try to learn French in America, you only really work on your French skills during the time that you are doing homework or in class. Even if you only speak French when you are in class, that is only a few hours a week at most, much less time than if you were to learn French in France.

When you are learning French in France, you get to pick it up all week the time, and not just for a few hours a day. You will not only learn French in France from your classes, but also from conversations with strangers on the street, from looking at street signs, or buying food. In short, everything that you do there will help you learn French in France, so it is easy to see why it is so much better of an option than continuing to study it in America, or some other non-French speaking country.

If you want to learn French in France, the best way to do it is through a foreign language program. Although there are thousands of programs that claim to be able to teach you French in France, they vary in quality, and only a few of them are really good. It is important to do thorough research and not just go on the first learn French in France program that you see, as you might end up having a very bad time at it. You might even fail to learn French in France in the process. But a good program could just be the adventure of a lifetime.
